Stocks are simple. Shares in a company right? But how do i know what company to invest in. Well when picking stocks you first have to look at what your trying to acheive. Am i going for the long term (5 years+) or am i buying stock so i can trade later at the end of the day (3-4 PM). Stock tips from your neighbors son arent really the best way to go. Look at trends, recently released information (Quartly reports) , financials. When you go to buy stocks your gonna wanna pick a good brokerage. There are many discount stock trading offices, like Etrade, Sharebuilder, or Charles Swaub. Stocks are just one way to invest. Bonds, Stocks, and Options are all traded as well. Well i guess i underestimated. Stocks are tough.
